It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Bernice Inez Evans, a remarkable soul who gracefully departed from this life on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, in Philadelphia, PA, at the age of 89. A beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, Bernice's unwavering warmth and kindness illuminated the lives of all fortunate enough to know her. Her spirit will be profoundly missed by her devoted family and loyal friends.

We cordially invite all whose lives were touched by Bernice to join us in celebrating her beautiful legacy at a Home Going Service on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at the Mount Airy Church of God in Christ, located at 6401 Ogontz Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19126. Those who loved her are welcome to gather in remembrance, beginning with a viewing from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a service at 11:00 am dedicated to honoring her remarkable life. After the service, she will be laid to rest at Chelten Hills Cemetery, situated at 1701 E Washington Lane, Philadelphia, PA 19138.
