Claudia Mae Cuyler, a cherished matriarch and beloved figure in her community, peacefully departed this world on September 7, 2025, at the venerable age of 102. Born on December 19, 1922, in Augusta, Georgia, Claudia's life was a tapestry woven with rich experiences, a profound love for family, and unwavering faith.
Claudia was not only a source of wisdom but also the heart of her family. Known for her kindness and nurturing spirit, she devoted her life to supporting her loved ones through every challenge and celebrating all their triumphs. Her role as the family matriarch was one she embraced wholeheartedly, moving gracefully through life with the strength of someone who had witnessed the evolution of the world over a century.
A proud member of the Grace Baptist Church of Germantown, Claudia’s connection to her faith was one of her proudest accomplishments. For many years, she provided guidance and inspiration to her fellow congregants, demonstrating the essence of community service and love. Her dedication to the church not only fostered her spiritual growth but also allowed her to cultivate lasting relationships with those she held dear.

Family and friends are invited to honor Claudia’s life at the Grace Baptist Church of Germantown, located at 25 West Johnson Street, Philadelphia, PA 19144. A viewing will take place on September 17, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service celebrating her life at 11:00 AM. The interment will follow at Chelten Hills Cemetery in Philadelphia PA.
