Eric C. Thornton IV was born on April 14, 2003, in Kissimmee, Florida to Tia L. White and Eric C. Thornton III.
Eric was affectionately known to family and loved ones as "Peanut," a nickname that was bestowed approximately 8 months before he was even born during an early prenatal visit. At two weeks old he'd begin his life in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.
Starting at a very young age Peanut took great interest in reading. If you asked him what he wanted for his birthday or Christmas his answer was the same year after year. He wanted to go to the bookstore and pick out his own books. He would be sure to have the latest edition of Ripley's Believe it or Not, The Guinness Book World Records and Manga Comics.
Peanut also loved Marvel/DC comics and movies especially Spider-Man. A young Peanut would often be seen around town dressed as Spider-Man shooting webs at unsuspecting friends and family.
As he grew older, he took interest in anime. So much so that his tattoos are mirrored after one of his favorite characters.
Peanut was also an amazing artist. If you name it, he could draw it. He had a special interest in drawing anime style characters.
Peanut enjoyed eating breakfast, specifically french toast and all types of seafood, even frog legs. He also enjoyed gaming and his spare time and hanging with his friends.
Eric graduated from Pottstown High School in 2021. During "unprecedented times" of the covid era. He went on to work full-time at Walmart for several years before transitioning into a new position at Stanley Steemer.
He also took an interest in welding and enrolled in Universal Technical Institute for the 2026 fall semester.
Eric was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Anthony "Scoob" White and Eric C. Thornton Sr.
Peanut leaves behind his mother; Tia White, his father; Eric C. Thornton III. Sisters; Cheynia Boyer, Isabelle Thornton, Brother; Ethan Thornton.
Nan; Geraldine Turlington, Mom Mom; Lois Johnson, stepmother; Maria stepfather; Wayne Boyer. As well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
