Eva Bullock Garlington

Mrs. Eva Bullock Garlington, age eighty-two, departed her earthly life and entered into eternal rest Friday, August 21, 2026 in Monroe, North Carolina. She was born in Person County April 9, 1944, to the late Ulysses S. and Rosa Lyons Bullock and was a former member of the New St. James Missionary Baptist Church in Timberlake and made her home in Huntersville, North Carolina.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Horace “Pee-Wee” Garlington; a sister, Gertelia Bullock Glenn; and three brothers: Ulysses Bullock, Clarence Bullock and Ernest Bullock.

She leaves to cherish precious memories, three stepchildren; step-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 12:00pm at Cunningham & Associates Funeral Services with the Reverend Devin D. Paylor, M. Div., Pastor at Greater Bethel A.M.E. Church in Charlotte, North Carolina, providing the eulogy.

Visitation with family will be on Sunday, August 30, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Ervina White Beauford Funeral Service, P.C. 1133 E. High Street Pottstown, Pa 19464. Interment will be on Monday, August 31, 2026, at 11:00 am at Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 Swamp Pike Limerick, Pennsylvania 19468
