Ms. Rita Elaine Warfield passed away suddenly on Thursday August 3, 2017 at the age of 80 years old. Rita was born on December 30, 1936 in Philadelphia and was an Educator with the School District of Philadelphia during her life time. She will be missed by her family and friends. A funeral service will be held on Thursday August 10, 2017 at Mount Airy COGIC 6401 Ogontz Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19126. The viewing will begin at 8:00 a.m. with the service to follow at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Ivy Hill Cemetery, 1201 Easton Road, Philadelphia, PA. 19150.
