Rosebetty (Acri) Bangor.

On a serene day in the vibrant community of Roslyn, PA, the world dimmed just a little when Rosebetty Bangor passed peacefully from this life on August 10, 2025, cradled in the loving embrace of her family. At the age of 91, she left behind a legacy as rich as the many laughter-filled moments she crafted with those she held dear.

Born on January 31, 1934, Rosebetty devoted her life to nurturing her family and engaging in the world around her. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John, with whom she shared 57 years of laughter, faith, and an unwavering partnership—a match that stood the test of time and adversity, creating an enduring bond that was the foundation of their family.

Rosebetty is survived by her devoted sons, Neil (Lillian) and Edward Sr. (Mary Lou), both of Virginia, alongside her loving daughters, Felicia of Florida and Giovanna Gallagher (Joseph) of Indiana. They, along with her grandchildren—Stephanie Johnson (Ryan) of New York, John (Lauren), Edward Jr. of Virginia, Joseph (Ashley), Jim (Ashley), and Chiara—and her great-grandchildren, Eleanor and Jim Jr., will forever cherish her guiding spirit.

To her family, Rosebetty was more than a matriarch; she was a vibrant heart, a woman of remarkable strength whose unconditional love enveloped them in warmth. Her home, a sanctuary of togetherness, became a steadfast gathering point for cherished moments, especially during the magical Christmas season when her breathtaking display of a miniature village transformed the living room into a winter wonderland. Her legendary coconut cake stood as a rich testament to her culinary prowess—an essential centerpiece of countless family celebrations.

Beyond the walls of her home, Rosebetty was the steady, smiling force at the Staples Print Center for decades, where her patience and kindness left an indelible mark on everyone who stepped through the door. Her ability to treat each customer as part of her extended family was a testament to her nurturing nature and genuine spirit.

A devout Catholic, Rosebetty lived her faith with grace and conviction, enriching the lives of those around her. As an active member of St. David Roman Catholic Church in Willow Grove, PA, she found strength and purpose in her community, embodying the values of compassion and charity that she held dear.

As her family reflects on her life, they carry with them Rosebetty’s profound message: “Remember me as having loved you.” It is a simple yet deep reminder of the fierce love she poured into every relationship, turning ordinary days into extraordinary memories.

Family and friends will gather to pay tribute to her beautiful life on Saturday, September 13, 2025. A visitation will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m., at St. David Roman Catholic Church, 316 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. Interment will be held at St. John Neumann Cemetery, 3797 County Line Road, Chalfont, PA 18914.
